Hi, my name is Lillie Nancy Sue Cox. I was born on August 16, 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky. Well I have done a lot of growing since then. I’m now 15 soon to be 16.
I consider my self to be an artist. My interest in art was brought to a head when I was in the 5th grade by my art teacher, Mr. Ward or as we called him Dr. Draw, he gave me the chance to work with different forms of art. He got me started in an after school art program. I then graduated the 5th leaving my art behind for a couple of years but contained drawing. In six grade I joined the school band to get out of going to PE. I played the clarinet until the eighth grade where I left in the middle of second semester for my art. I left my middle school years behind and moved on to the worst freshman year ever. The only good thing that came out of my freshman year was one of the best art experiences ever. My art passion bloomed. I had talent, well HAVE talent. I had a great time in my 5th period art class, I had the best art teacher (Mr. Patrick Robertson), and he had a very interesting way of teaching class that I enjoyed. I had a very fun time in a clay animation class after school. It was interesting to see how animations like Gumby were made and actually make one of my own, it didn’t turn out that great but it was fun. I wanted to keep up with my art in the year to follow so I tried to get in to the Advance Drawing class, and made it but since I messed up pretty badly my freshman year I didn’t get to keep that class. But the year that would have been my sophomore year, I got an offer to attend the Art insatiate, I had my interview and the man, Daniel Cox, said I had real talent and I would have no problem in the school. But sadly to say because of financial difficulties I had to put the school aside.
So here now I keep with my art, I love all forms of art. I’m about to start learning from a friend how use an Air compressor, so soon I’ll be working with airbrushing.
I plan to in the future attend the Art insatiate for two years, and if I decide to go to college, I’ll be entering as a sophomore because the school’s credit goes also for college credit. I want to become a professional artist, but even if I’m a flea market artist I’ll be happy doing what I love.
During the summer I love to attend girls camp with my church. This past year was my KIT (councilor in training) year. This year I received my camp name, and my camp name is Mama Smurf. The reason why I was named Mama Smurf was because I had a blue ink pen bust in my KIT bag (a bag that’s like a purse) and I grabbed the pen not knowing it busted. Well got the ink all over my hands. Well normally when a blue ink pen does that to me I go around saying “I’m a Smurf” and of course me. I said it and was named for it.
During my free time I love to get on the computer and find info on my favorite artist, and just surf on the net. I love to read, listen to music, mostly country, also I love all LDS music, like Jericho Road. I love to listen to talks given by John Bytheway. I also love to taking pictures, I love photography.
I love cats, especially mine; I’ve had him for now two years. I’m hate dogs because I’m scared of them. I love to watching ballet, Ice-skating, and all forms of dance.
